It's mine!

We all have these great and wonderful ideas in our minds that we can make MILLIONS off of. However, there is an immediate reluctance to tell anyone about it. That is what I am facing. My husband is fearful of folks stealing an idea once you open your mouth. But I say - "how are people going to know about what you are doing if you don't tell them?" So as I write this daily blog I am forewarning you that I may hold back some design/images until the near end. I may hint on somethings and the few that already know - keep it tight!
So the linkedin.com thing is working. I am now honorably linked to Chief Shoe Giver, Blake Mycoskie of TOMS shoes (wow) and some notables from BCBG, Burberry, Coach and other professionals in the game. The next question is - how do I reach out to these respectable people without seeming like a groupie? I'm starting to wonder if these professional networks are mere database or rolodex entries and not to be contacted - just reserved. I mean is it not enough that they even accepted your invitation? Well I am not going to misuse my new extended network. It is weird though because I am used to meeting people face to face.

Also I defined the areas of the Shiatsu insole pressure points today and am going to take the next viable step and forward the concept to my contacts in Brazil on Monday. Brazil has a grasp on flexible sole technology and has the best in South America. When I was there I saw at least 10 plants in one town that were dedicated to developing the next evolution in comfort soles. Also this is where I'd like to develop the brand. I feel Brazil holds a since of quality and workmanship. If there were any shoe factories left in the USA - I would go there first. Once the specs are complete and done on the insole - then it is off to the US Patent Office. After the mold is complete then the Podiatrist comes into play - anyone know a good Pediatric Podiatrist in the LA area? My search is leading to more plastic surgeons and reconstruction...

And for some reason today I designed a great set of shoes – for women – I'll share those tomorrow, I need to scan them. Again, Song Bird is crying her eyes out. Not for milk though...she is getting on everyone's nerves with the crying and has been kicked out of both the boys and girls room. Now when you get kicked out of your own room – it's time to stop the crying.               Ah, she's sleepy, got it. Bed time!

Not shocking, expected sheer brillance! Love the concept, love little's logo! I would have them or him do all artwork. Most of all smart eco friendly materials and giving back to those less fortunate. This is a billion dollar start to the Hollaway Gray enterprise! So happy to see you working on you! xoxo!
